Welcome to the Manx Organic Network website. Our welcome extends to members and non-members alike.

To those non-members interested enough to have come to see what our website is about, we assume that you are interested in organic foods, local Manx foods or preferably both. In either case, we would like to extend our welcome further – join MON (as we usually refer to the Manx Organic Network) and help us make an even bigger difference. To all, you will know that MON is staffed entirely by volunteers. The creation and updating of this website takes a lot of time, effort and creativity from a lot of people, including professionals who have literally given us their contribution. I know they would not want me to name names but they know who they are and I thank them on your behalf.

This is your website......
So please visit it regularly, and contribute to it too. Please would you send ideas or contributions by email to the Website Editor, and any specific queries to me, the Chairman, the Membership Secretary; or the Treasurer. Please use e-mails wherever possible, by post if you don't have email and the telephone only in extremis! We will get back to you a.s.a.p. but we also have busy lives, holidays etc so it may take a little time.

Membership drivers
The main membership drivers are in fact YOU, our current members. Think what a difference it would make to the influence we havein our discussions with Government and other important groups if we had three or four times the members we have currently. So please, ask your friends to join. The cost is modest, the influence is great and we hope that the personal benefit is important too.
